Organizer Agreement

Effective November 1, 2026

The short version

  • You confirm you are allowed to raise money for your organization, with any school or district approval it needs.
  • You confirm you can use every logo and name you upload, and you let us print them on team merch.
  • Money goes to your organization’s Stripe account. FundMyClub keeps its fee, plus the cost of any team merch.
  • Refunds and chargebacks come out of your organization’s Stripe balance.

1. About this agreement

This Organizer Agreement applies when you create or manage a Fundraiser on FundMyClub. It adds to our Terms of Service, which also apply. If the two conflict, this agreement controls for organizers. "You" means the person creating the Fundraiser and the Organization you act for.

2. Your authority and approvals

By creating a Fundraiser, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 and have authority to raise money for the Organization and to accept this agreement for it.
  • You have every approval the Organization needs, such as from the school, district, booster club board, league or university, before you publish.
  • Money raised will be paid to a bank account the Organization controls, never to a personal account.
  • You will use the money only for the purpose stated on the Fundraiser.

3. Your Fundraiser page

We may write a first draft of your page, story, messages and team merch levels. You review and approve everything before you publish, and you are responsible for it once published. Keep it truthful: the goal, the purpose, the deadline and any claims about the Organization.

4. Tax status

You tell us the Organization's tax status (for example, a public school, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, or not tax exempt) and, where it applies, its EIN. We use it to choose the tax line Supporters see. You confirm it is accurate and you will tell us if it changes. The Organization, not FundMyClub, is responsible for any tax receipts or acknowledgments the law requires it to provide, and for its own tax filings.

5. Logos, names and trademarks

  • You confirm that the Organization owns, or is authorized to use, every logo, name, mascot and image you upload, including any school or university marks.
  • You give FundMyClub and our production partners a license to display those materials on the Service and in share images, and to print them on Team Merch for your Fundraiser.
  • If a rights holder complains, we may remove the material, pause the Fundraiser or cancel unshipped Team Merch while we review it.
  • You agree to cover our costs from any claim that your materials infringe someone else's rights.

6. Participants

  • You add Participants, or share a link that lets them join.
  • For any Participant under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian has given permission.
  • You will not add anyone under 13.
  • You are responsible for supervising how Participants promote the Fundraiser, and for making sure no one is pressured to raise money.

7. Getting paid

  • Payments are processed by Stripe. To receive money, the Organization opens a Stripe Connected Account and agrees to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement (https://stripe.com/legal/connect-account), which includes the Stripe Services Agreement.
  • A Fundraiser can take gifts only after Stripe enables the account.
  • Gifts are paid to the Organization's Stripe account. Stripe pays out to the Organization's bank account on the schedule we set, which may hold each gift for a few days after it is made (for example, 7 days) to cover refunds and disputes. Stripe may also delay or hold payouts under its own rules.
  • You authorize us to share information about the Organization and its Fundraisers with Stripe as needed to provide the service.

8. Fees and team merch costs

  • FundMyClub keeps a platform fee and a payment processing fee of 5% of each gift. The platform fee is set for each Fundraiser and shown before you publish, and may differ by Fundraiser type (for example, Fundraisers with Team Merch), unless we agree different rates in writing. The payment processing fee is a fixed rate set to cover our card, payout and fraud-protection costs, which vary from gift to gift. Both are deducted before the gift reaches the Organization's Stripe account, and the dashboard shows both on every gift.
  • For gifts with Team Merch, FundMyClub also keeps the cost of the merchandise and shipping, at the price shown for that level when you set it up. The start flow and dashboard show what the Organization keeps from each level.
  • We may change our fees for future Fundraisers with notice. Changes do not apply to gifts already made, and each monthly gift keeps the fees in place when it started.

9. Refunds, chargebacks and negative balances

  • We may refund a gift under our Refund Policy, or where we believe a gift was fraudulent or made in error. When we refund, the amount the Organization received is taken back from its Stripe balance, and our fee is returned to the Supporter.
  • If Team Merch has already been produced or shipped, the refund excludes the value of the merchandise and shipping shown on that level, which FundMyClub keeps.
  • If a Supporter disputes a charge with their bank (a chargeback), the disputed amount and any dispute fee are debited from the Organization's Stripe account. We may submit evidence to help.
  • If the Organization's Stripe balance goes negative, Stripe may recover it from future gifts or the Organization's bank account, and the Organization agrees to repay any amount owed.

10. Team merch

We arrange production and shipping of Team Merch through our production partner. We may review orders before they go to production. We are responsible for producing and shipping them; you are responsible for the accuracy of the levels you approve. Team Merch is available only to US addresses.

11. Records

Your dashboard shows gifts, Supporters who chose to share their names, and payouts. You agree to keep your own records of how funds are used, as your Organization, school or district requires, and to share them with us if a Supporter, Stripe or a regulator asks.

12. Supporter information

You may see Supporter names, emails and messages. Use them only to thank Supporters and to send updates about your Organization. Do not sell or share them, and follow our Privacy Policy and applicable law, including anti-spam law. Honor any request to stop receiving messages.

13. Pausing, ending and removal

You may end your Fundraiser early or extend the deadline from your dashboard. We may pause or remove a Fundraiser, stop payouts or refund gifts if we believe it breaks this agreement, the Terms or the law, or if Stripe requires it. Monthly gifts keep going after the deadline until the Supporter cancels, or until the end date shown at checkout if there is one. Ending your Fundraiser early, or our removing it, stops future monthly charges.

14. Ambassador codes

If someone referred you to FundMyClub, we may record their referral code on your Organization. It does not change your fees.

15. Termination

You may close your account by emailing support@fundmyclub.com. Sections 4, 5, 8, 9, 11 and 12 continue after termination for gifts already made.
